Just When you Thought It Was The Last Night HE Came Home

 
 

Well here we have it. The last of the HalloweeN 199(insert number) trilogy. I hope you
enjoy this as much as I did making it. Oh, and yeah the ending is a bit like H4 but
who cares?
 
 

                     HalloweeN 1999

FADE IN
 

   We slowly see a dark image in the background,
  walking closer and closer and closer towards us.
  This figure has a gleaming object in hand, which
 appears to be silvery and sharp. The figure comes
      more and more into view, until we see its
       MICHAEL MYERS. Main Titles begin.
 

                      TITLE CARD

                 WORDS ON SCREEN
 Just When You Thought It Was The Last Night HE
                       Came Home!
 

 The Main Title zooms past us as we slowly FADE
                        IN to see…
 
 

INT. BASEMENT - COSTANZA HOUSE -
NIGHT
 

   Kyle runs into the laundry room. He can see a
               clear view of the staircase.

 Michael then stumbles over to the basement door
              and falls down the staircase.

     Kyle closes the blinded laundry room door.

  Michael looks around the room for a while, then
  walks over to the door and gives it a swift punch
 and the whole door crumbles to a pile of wood on
                          the floor.

 Kyle lets out a shriek. He picks up a broken piece
   of wood with a sharp and serrated point on the
 end. Kyle throws it at Michael and it goes straight
  into his heart. Michael takes the bloody piece of
         wood out and throws it back at Kyle.

     Kyle ducks but it scrapes off the side of his
                         forehead.

                           KYLE
                            Ow!

 Kyle takes his axe and chops down onto Michael's
                          shoulder.

 A muffle from under his mask almost sounds like a
                          scream.

    Michael looks at Kyle and the muffled words
         "Goodbye" come out from the mask.

        Kyle slashes Michael across the chest.

            Michael lets out a silent scream.

    Finally, with one swift and lucky move, Kyle
            swings his axe over to Michael.

  Kyle closes his eyes before he can see where he
   hit Michael. He slowly opens his eyes to see….

    Michael's head falling to the floor and rolling
                          away…

             Kyle has decapitated Michael.

                           KYLE
                 (happy and exhausted)
                       Did I do that?

          Kyle drops to the floor, exhausted.

               Michael's body falls dead.

  Kyle drops the axe to the floor and walks away.

 But, he accidentally dropped it next to the furnace
                and makes a big cut in it.

     Suddenly, the furnace explodes and sets the
     basement on fire. Michael's body engulfs in
                           flames.
 

                    SMASH CUT TO:

INT. SOMEWHERE IN THE COSTANZA
HOUSE - THAT VERY MOMENT
 

   KYLE convulses with a loud SCREAM, to see
 that he is lying in a pile of blood, with a scar on his
 forehead. Kyle has waken from a dream. He looks
 around himself, and tires to scan his surroundings.

         He gets a confused look on his face.

INT. UPSTAIRS HALL WAY
 

  Kyle runs up the stairs in a huff to see the DEAD
 BODIES OF HIS FRIENDS. He covers his mouth
 with his hands, and feels his lunch creeping up on
                            him.

                           KYLE
        MICHAEL!!! WHERE ARE YOU???

   He spins around to see MICHAEL running past
    him, and out of a door, into the night. Just as
   Michael exits, a loud SIREN IS HEARD in the
      background. The police are approaching.

   All of the sudden we see MICHAEL lighting a
   torch, and setting the house on fire.  Kyle looks
         back, with a look of fear on his face.

Fire spreads and catches with virtually everything.

                           KYLE
           MICHAEL GET OVER HERE!!!

             But Michael is already gone.

                   FADE TO BLACK

 Words on screen: A year or so later, October 29th
                           1999.

                         FADE IN

     EXT. KYLE'S HOUSE - ESTABLISHING

      INT. KYLE'S HOUSE - LIVING ROOM

 Kyle, and his friend Christine sit on a couch, there
     eyes glued to the television. Playing on tv is
          NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET.

                       ON SCREEN
 Tina screams as she is dragged all over the ceiling
 on her mom's bedroom. Rod shrieks, and a sudden
 JOLT OF BLOOD spurts from Tina's chest, as if 4
            distinct razors are ripping at it.

  REVERSE ANGLE Christine hides her face in a
    pillow, she hates scary movies, especially the
                       death scenes.

                           KYLE
               (keeping an eye on the tv)
Chrissy, you would think that you are more mature
        then that while watching these movies.

                       CHRISTINE
   I'm 17 years old and I do not care. Why do you
                        look so sad?

                           KYLE
                          (sighing)
       I guess I'm just still missing my friends...

                       CHRISTINE
                     (sighing as well)
                  Its been a whole year!

                           KYLE
  Not exactly a whole year, it ain't Halloween yet.

                       CHRISTINE
   I'm sorry that you lost all of your friends in one
    night. What were their names again? Anna...
                          Alexis...

                           KYLE
                   (continuing for her)
 Will… Niles ... and Murphy. It was so horrible... I
 saw all of their dead bodies as if in one blur... all I
     remember after that was Michael slamming
  something on my head then I drifted off... then I
                       dreamed that-

                       CHRISTINE
        You told me this story so many times!
(impersonating Kyle's voice) " My brother Michael
 came after me and then he killed all of my friends
 oh boo hoo I then dreamed I chopped off his head
 and yadda, yadda, yadda I can immediately make
                people feel sorry for me".

                           KYLE
                  You are such a bitch.

                       CHRISTINE
                     Why thank you.

                      MRS. STRODE
                  (calling from kitchen)
                   Kyle! Get in here!!!

                     INT. KITCHEN

 Kyle jogs into the kitchen to see his parents sitting
 down at a table going over some papers and what
                             not.

                           KYLE
                  Hey, what's going on?

                      MR. STRODE
             Well, we're moving! Surprise!

                           KYLE
             What??! WE'RE MOVING??!

                      MRS. STRODE
 We decided it would be for the best. I mean, we're
   moving back to our home town in Haddonfield!

                           KYLE
             (as if remembering something)
              HADDONFIELD???!! NO!!

                      MR. STRODE
 Remember when we moved away from their after
  Laurie's death? Well we're moving back honey!

                      MRS. STRODE
             (with a huge grin on her face)
             Well dear, what do you think?

        Kyle looks like he's about to explode.

                           KYLE
           WE CANNOT MOVE BACK TO
 HADDONFIELD! IF WE DO THEN MICHAEL
           WILL FIND US THERE AND---

                      MR. STRODE
  Now I thought we all agreed that Michael is not
          alive and he will not come after us?

                           KYLE
                          (sighing)
  Fine. But if I come home one day in Haddonfield
     and you're all dead, don't say I told you so.

                         CUT TO:

          INT. STREETS - THE NEXT DAY

            Words on Screen: October 30th

 Kyle makes his way down the street, and meets up
   with his two other friends, Richard and Joyce.

                           KYLE
            Hey guys, what you guys doing?

                        RICHARD
  Oh nothing. We were planning to go over to my
   house to watch some scary movies. Lets see…
 Child's Play… Wes Craven's New Nightmare and
                       then Psycho.

                          JOYCE
               It'll be fun! Wanna come?

                           KYLE
         Sure. Is Christine or Rachel coming?

                        RICHARD
    Well Chrissy is staying in Mexico City for the
                week, didn't she tell you?

                           KYLE
                   Well no she didn't.

                          JOYCE
              As for Rachel I do not know.

                           KYLE
       Well what are we waiting for? Let's go!

                         CUT TO:

     INT. RICHARD'S HOUSE / BASEMENT -
                          LATER

 Kyle, Joyce and Richard are all huddled together,
 scared as heck as they watch CHUCKY on screen
          run around trying to kill little Andy.

                        RICHARD
                How can he be so cruel?

                          JOYCE
  What do you expect he's a doll that kills people.

                           KYLE
                  Ha she sure told you.

   Richard growls and smacks Kyle with a pillow.
 Joyce snickers, as KYLE leaps up from the couch
 and JUMPS Richard to the ground. They both fall
 laughing, as SUDDENLY the electricity goes out.

     Richard and Kyle stop, as Joyce shrieks and
       knocks over something in the darkness.

                           KYLE
                     What happened?

                        RICHARD
                     I'll check it out.

                         CUT TO:

 INT. UPSTAIRS HALL WAY - THAT MOMENT

    Richard runs to the kitchen and grabs a large,
    shiny knife from the knife rack. He walks out
momentarily, checking other portions of the house.
 He gingerly sets the knife on a counter, and walks
                  elsewhere off screen.

   CLOSE ON COUNTER as a burnt and scarred
 HAND reaches up behind it, and feels around the
   sleek surface, till it comes upon the knife. The
          hand grabs it and pulls it off screen.

  Meanwhile Richard walks back into the kitchen,
            and discovers the KNIFE gone.

                   INT.  BASEMENT

 Richard walks back in, with a worried look on his
             face. The others stare at him.

                           KYLE
                        What is it?

      Richard walks over to Joyce and whispers
  something in her ear. Joyce nods, and they both
                       look at Kyle.

                         CUT TO:

  EXT. RICHARD'S HOUSE - THAT MOMENT

   The front door opens, to reveal RICHARD and
               JOYCE dragging Kyle out.

                           KYLE
                Hey! What the big idea?

                          JOYCE
         Uh Kyle can we ask you something?

                           KYLE
 Well now that you have my undivided attention….

                        RICHARD
    We know you have a lot on your mind. But is
  there anything you are not telling us? I mean last
  year we just heard on the news 5 teens died and
  that's it, but we want the real story Kyle. Please
  tell us. Remember last year on Halloween? You
              were going to go baby-sit....

                           KYLE
 Uh you guys, I don't want this to turn into a "I still
  know what you did last summer" situation when
   the hero has a dark past that doesn't want to be
                revealed to the friends...

                          JOYCE
                   Tell us, Julie James.

   All of the sudden RACHEL leaps out at Kyle,
                   making him scream.

   She breaks out into laughter, but stops and sees
           that everybody is deadly serious.

                           KYLE
                    Nice one, Rachel.

                         RACHEL
                 What's going on here?

                          JOYCE
  We're trying to get Kyle to tell us what happened
                 last year on Halloween.

                         RACHEL
           What are you guys talking about?

                           KYLE
      Why is it now that you are bringing it up?

                        RICHARD
   Because we want to know why you're sad and
                 distraught all the time!

                           KYLE
                   (walking past them)
          I am not at liberty to talk about it.

                         RACHEL
               Hey, I want to know, too!

  Kyle stops, and looks back at them. They look at
     each other for a second, till Kyle breaks the
                          silence.

                           KYLE
 I just... I just don't feel right telling you about how
              somebody killed my friends.

                          JOYCE
 We're you friends Kyle!  I , and the rest of us want
              to know the WHOLE story!

                           KYLE
                 (approaching the group)
       Fine. If you want to know. You'll know.

                         CUT TO:

   EXT. COSTANZA HOUSE (or what's left of it)

  The house of where the Costanza's house used to
    live, is now a pile of cinder and ashes. The 4
 friends approach the vacant lot, and 3 out of the 4
              look at each other confused.

                          JOYCE
       Kyle, its just a bunch of ashes and stuff.

                           KYLE
                      Oh you'll see...

  Thunder ROARS and lightning FLASHES across
the sky in one big pulsation. Rain pours down from
      the large clouds, soaking the 4 completely.

                           KYLE
         You sure you guys want to know…?

                         RACHEL
             Yeah! Tell us! I want to know.

                           KYLE
                      (walking about)
 Oh alright… After I decided to babysit for Anna...
  well... it was the biggest mistake of my life... We
  didn't know it at first, but Anna was killed in her
  sister's car just before we were about to take off.
    We used my mom's BMW to get there, to get
 HERE to babysit. Murphy dropped me and Alexis
  off here, and she went to find Anna. After Alexis
 took off, Niles and Will came by... I shooed them
   away... and I was left alone.... that damn child
    Frank left me in the house all alone, with the
   power cut off. (sniffing, almost crying) Then...
  then I heard these, these THUDS... (stuttering to
   remember) and then... I went... I went upstairs
 (now crying completely with the rain dribbling all
 over him) I then went into the bedroom... (crying)
                     I saw.... I saw....

   Everyone is now totally and deathly silent. His
  words have touched and shutted up everybody.

                           KYLE
                          (CONT)
  I saw the bodies of Anna.... (crying more) I then
 ran down the stairs after seeing a few more bodies,
 I then stumbled upon Will's... (crying so hard he's
 barely able to talk)... I... I grabbed on axe and met
   up with MICHAEL. After a few struggles... he
  bopped me on the head with a baseball hat and I
   was out cold. Michael must have thought I was
 dead... I dreamed I killed him.... NOW HE'S OUT
  THERE WATCHING AND WAITING TO GET
 ANOTHER CHANCE TO KILL ME AGAIN!!!!!
    (spinning around in a mad anger) COME AND
 GET ME!!!!!!! I'M RIGHT HERE! RIGHT HERE
            COME ON!! YOU AND ME!!!

 The rain stops. A rainbow springs up into the sky.
Everyone has now been deeply disturbed by Kyle's
   tale. They all pant wildly, soaked to the bone.

                         RACHEL
      Well that was very... (gulp) ... interesting.

                        RICHARD
         Is that really what happened Kyle???

                           KYLE
     Yes. Are you happy? Are you? ARE YOU?

                          JOYCE
    Kyle! We're sorry we brought up unpleasant
 memories, but if you kept it inside you like this for
   a long amount of time it will cause, well, I don't
                  know, you might go...

 Joyce drills her finger to her temple. Kyle looks at
            her thoughtfully, and speaks up.

                           KYLE
         I appreciate it, you guys. I really do.

   Kyle walks away, leaving the 3 dumbfounded.
             Rachel watches him walk off.

                         RACHEL
 God its not like we slapped him across the face or
                         anything.

CUT TO:
 

   INT. CHRISTINE'S  HOTEL ROOM - LATER
                        THAT DAY

   We pan around the hotel room of Christine. Its
 fairly big. Victorian. The usual. We stop when we
 come upon CHRISTINE talking on the phone with
                         RACHEL.

                       CHRISTINE
                  (to Rachel on phone)
  He actually told you about what happened? God!

                         RACHEL
                     (through phone)
                  Yes. Did he tell you?

                       CHRISTINE
 Yeah he did. He seems to isolated, locked up in his
                    room all the time.

CUT TO:

      INT. KYLE'S ROOM - THAT MOMENT

 Kyle is feverishly scribbling something down on a
  piece of paper. He takes long strides and strokes
     on it, indicating he's drawing something. He
    remains drawing, until a knock is heard at the
                            door.

                           KYLE
                          (startled)
                          Come in.

   In a beat the door opens and Kyle's mom steps
          inside, closing the door behind her.

                      MRS. STRODE
             Hi Kyle, what are you doing?

                           KYLE
                 (covering up his work)
                         Nothing.

                      MRS. STRODE
            I know you're doing something.

                           KYLE
                  I'm not doing a thing.

                      MRS. STRODE
 Ah, I give up. I just came here to tell you that you
    should start packing up today, the movers are
    coming by tomorrow. You can spend all day
 tomorrow saying bye to your friends if you wish.

                           KYLE
                     Yeah, whatever.

                      MRS. STRODE
                         Ok. Bye.

   Mrs. Strode opens up the door, walks out, and
  shuts the door behind her. Kyle looks back at the
                            door.

           CLOSE ON KYLE'S DRAWING
   Its a simple, yet kind of crude sketch of KYLE
   chopping off Michael's head with an axe as he
                          dreamt.

 REVERSE ANGLE ON KYLE, as he looks at the
 drawing in some secret torment, and SUDDENLY
 reaches out and rips it to shreds in a mad rush. He
   lets the pieces of paper fall to the ground, as he
 raises his hands over his face and slowly begins to
                            cry.

                   FADE TO BLACK

        WORDS ON SCREEN: October 31st

 EXT. KYLE'S HOUSE - THE NEXT MORNING

   Two men in white jackets marked "JOE'S BIG
AND BOLD MOVING TRUCK AND BUSINESS"
 steadily carry a large leather sofa and they unload
 it in the compartment of the big moving van set in
                      the drive-way.

 Moments later Kyle and his parents step out. Kyle
      looks back at his house with a slightly sad
 expression. He looks back at his parents and sighs.

                           KYLE
                  Do we have to move?

                      MRS. STRODE
                     Yes we do, dear.

                           KYLE
 This sucks! I just made new friends and you know
                            that!

                      MR. STRODE
 Now Kyle you promised me you wouldn't make a
                           scene.

                         CUT TO:

          INT. STREETS - THAT MOMENT

   We slowly see JOYCE and RACHEL walking
  down the side walk, heading for Kyle's house for
                     one last goodbye.

                          JOYCE
 So what are you going to say before Kyle moves?

                         RACHEL
   Oh I would probably scare him one last time or
                        something.

                          JOYCE
                            I see.

   Joyce and Rachel walk past a large hedge  that
     spreads down a good sum of the sidewalk.

   They continue the chatter, when MICHAEL'S
 HAND reaches out of the bush and GRABS Joyce
     by the mouth, covering and concealing her
 screams as he PULLS her in with him and murders
                       her viciously.

   Rachel, who is yammering all to herself doesn't
       know this, so she just continues to walk.

                         RACHEL
   And so I said to her "Way" and she is like "no
   way!" and I am like "way!" and she still doesn't
believe me so she says "no way!" Can you believe-

Michael grabs her from behind and holds her up by
   the neck. Rachel screams, as Michael slams her
 down against the black tar of a drive way. Michael
 pins her down, and raises the bloodied knife in his
                         very hand.

   Rachel lets a loud blood curdling SCREAM as
   MICHAEL whips the knife through the air and
    SLASHES HER right across her chest. Blood
 spurts out feverishly as MICHAEL stabs her again
 and again, causing more spurts and jolts of blood.

                         CUT TO:

     EXT. KYLE'S HOUSE - THAT MOMENT

 Kyle hastily gets into his father's rusty Cadillac,  as
            it starts up with a loud BOOM.

                         CUT TO:

                      INT. STREETS

    Richard is seen walking down the sidewalks,
  heading for Kyle's house which is right down the
                           street.

                        RICHARD
                KYLE OVER HERE!!!-

    Michael grabs him from behind and sticks the
   knife up his  back till his mouth lets out a long
  trickle of blood. The Shape takes the knife back
      out, as Richard falls dead on the ground.

                 EXT. KYLE'S HOUSE

One of the movers is leaning against the side of the
    moving truck, reading a porn magazine. This
 distracts him from MICHAEL who is climbing into
    the compartment at the back of the truck and
             slamming the door behind him.

 The SLAM of the door JOLTS the mover back to
   business, as he heads into the driver's seat and
                     starts the engine.

                         CUT TO:

                 INT. ROAD - LATER

 The rusty Cadillac and the white moving van clear
   down the road, with the sign "WELCOME TO
 HADDONFIELD, ENJOY YOUR STAY IN THE
  CITY THAT INVENTED MURDER". After the
       sign comes a picture of Michael Myers.

                    INT. CADILLAC

     Kyle looks out the window and watches the
                          display.

                           KYLE
 If they want to attract people to the town why the
             hell did they put up that sign!

                      MRS. STRODE
                   (from the front seat)
       Language, honey.  Watch the language.

                           KYLE
    Mom I'm 14 years old I think I can say hell or
                        damn or sh-

                      MR. STRODE
                     Hey, we're here!

                    EXT. CADDILAC

  We watch as the Cadillac and Van approach the
 exact same STRODE HOUSE from the first film.

                Kyle steps out of the car.

                           KYLE
 Hey this is the exact same house we had when we
                         lived here!

                      MRS. STRODE
                 (stepping out of the car)
               I know, isn't it great? Wow.

                           KYLE
                 (whispering to himself)
 It looks like cow shit run over twice with a twirling
                       lawn mower.

                      MRS. STRODE
                   What was that, son?

                           KYLE
    I said it looks like a mansion with good lawn
                          mowers.

   INT. NEW STRODE HOUSE - LATER THAT
                          NIGHT

  The family has settled in. They're partially done
      packing, so parts of the house are empty.

  Kyle walks into the kitchen to see his dad on the
                 phone with somebody.

                      MR. STRODE
     Uh huh. Yeah. Ok. So its agreed. Kyle takes
        Tommy out trick or treating. Ok. Bye.

        He hangs up and Kyle screams at him.

                           KYLE
                     EXCUSE ME??

                       MR STRODE
       You remember your little cousin? Tom?
    Remember? His parents have to work, and he
 really wants to go out trick or treating, so I thought
                maybe you could do it…

                           KYLE
     Oh this is just great dad, don't even discuss
              ANYTHING with me huh….

                       MR STRODE
  Now Kyle you know that you can do lots of stuff
 around here and we ask for so little so just this one
                        last time…

                           KYLE
 But I don't even know this neighborhood, what if I
                get lost while doing this?

                       MR STRODE
 Oh Tommy knows the neighborhood from head to
               toe he'll show you around.

  Mr. Strode exits, as Kyle places his hands on his
        head and lets out a small yell of anger.

                         CUT TO:

      EXT. KYLE'S NEW HOUSE - SUN SET

   Kyle steps out of his house, and shuts the door
   behind him. He walks down from the steps and
                    looks around him.

  KYLE'S POV the sun is now a beautiful pinkish
 orange, the streets are jam packed with Halloween
        ornaments and early trick or treaters.

  REVERSE ANGLE Kyle walks across the street
    and goes towards Tommy's house somewhere
                      down the road.

                    UNKNOWN POV
  Watching Kyle walk down the sidewalk, crossing
   streets and what not. Heavy breathing serves as
                     our background.

                         CUT TO:

        INT. CEMETARY - THAT MOMENT

   Kyle must pass through the cemetery to get to
 Tommy's house. He passes many grave stones and
  statues and stuff till he stops at a particular one.

         KYLE'S POV The grave stone reads:

           OUR BELOVED DAUGHTER

                    LAURIE STRODE

                        1968-1987

  the mother of Jamie Strode Lloyd, wife of Jimmy
  Lloyd, sister of Kyle Strode and deceased Judith
                          Myers.

       REVERSE ANGLE ON KYLE his face
     weakening as seconds pass. He wipes off an
      upcoming tear with the back of his hand.

      He walks away from the grave stone, and
  COMING FROM BEHIND A TREE a FIGURE
  leaps out at him and SCREAMS IN HIS FACE.

 Kyle steps back and lets out a loud SCREAM then
                       stops himself.

 He stares blankly at a little boy wearing a Michael
  Myers mask. The boy rips his mask off, to reveal
        the face of 7 year old TOM STRODE.

                           KYLE
      Tommy??? Ugh! Why did you do that and
          WHERE did you get that mask????

                         TOMMY
              Well Hello to you to Louis.

                           KYLE
                            Kyle.

                         TOMMY
                      Louis is better!

    Kyle lets out a shriek of frustration and drags
     Tommy along with him down the cemetery.

    The Shape stares at them from behind a tree,
           watching them go up to a house.

                         CUT TO:

       INT. NEW STRODE HOUSE - LATER

  Mrs. Strode is at the door, getting ready to go off
                        somewhere.

                      MRS. STRODE
                 (calling to her husband)
   I'll be back in an hour or so, I need to work out
                 something at the bank!

                      MR. STRODE
            (from somewhere in the house)
                 OK, SEE YA LATER!

    Mrs. Strode opens up the door and steps out,
              closing the door behind her.

            INT. LIVING ROOM - LATER

  Mr. Strode lies down on the couch watching TV.
   He starts to doze off, till a loud shrill WHAP is
         heard from somewhere in the house.

          Mr. Strode bolts up from the couch.

                      MR. STRODE
                           Hello?

                         Footsteps.

                      MR. STRODE
         Somebody there? Kyle? Is that you?

 Mr. Strode turns around momentarily, missing the
           SHAPE walking into the kitchen.

                     INT. KITCHEN

  SHAPE'S POV we open up a kitchen drawer and
 search through a jumble of sharp and shiny things.
   We finally pick out a big sharp pair of scissors.

                    INT. HALL WAY

 Mr. Strode walks down the hall and opens a closet
                           and…

     A BASEBALL BAT FALLS OUT OF THE
 CLOSET AND LETS OUT A LOUD BANG as it
   hits the ground. Mr. Strode steps back, startled.

      He leans against the wall to calm himself.

  In the background, we slowly see the OUTLINE
 OF THE SHAPE approaching MR. STRODE with
  the sharp slender scissors in a death grip. He gets
   closer and closer and GRABS MR STRODE by
       the neck and slams him against the wall.

  Mr. Strode screams and watches Michael slowly
    raise the scissors in the air… and off screen it
  STABS MR STRODE somewhere, and we see a
    large stream of blood spurt out from him and
                 splatter against a wall.

                         CUT TO:

      INT. STREETS - LATER THAT NIGHT

  Its dark and cold outside, and around 11 o clock.
 Most trick or treaters are gone, but we see KYLE
       and TOMMY running down the streets.

                           KYLE
 Tommy, its almost 11 c lock and your parents said
       to have you back by 10! Now come on!

                         TOMMY
 But I want to stay and get more candy!!!! MORE
             AND MORE AND MORE!!!

                           KYLE
                    (begging with him)
       Please!? Come on!!! We have to go-----

  Kyle looks off in the background to see the dark
  shadow of the SHAPE watching him. He shakes
  his head, trying to get the picture away from his
   mind. He leans against a lamp post, catching up
   with his thoughts, only to see TOMMY is gone.

                           KYLE
                   Oh this is just great.

          INT. ANOTHER EMPTY STREET

 Kyle runs down the sidewalk, screaming Tommy's
         name, frantically trying to find him.

                           KYLE
   TOMMY!!! TOMMY WHERE ARE YOU???!
 TOMMY COME OUT THIS VERY INSTANT!!!

              He runs across another road.

                         CUT TO:

   EXT. ABANDONED WAREHOUSE - THAT
                        MOMENT

   A giggling Tommy Strode steps inside the Ware
  House and shuts the large and rusty door behind
                            him.

         INT. ABANDONED WAREHOUSE

 Tommy giggles some more and runs off down into
    the ware house. He opens up a door, enters to
  reveal more doors leading to more hallways. He
           laughs loudly and runs down one.

   In a few moments, THE SHAPE walks into the
   ware house and walks down the long hall after
                          Tommy.

                         CUT TO:

           INT. STREETS - CONTINUOUS

 Kyle is still running down the streets, searching for
   Tommy. He puts his hands on his hair, and then
                 spots the Ware House.

     INT. WARE HOUSE - SOME HALL WAY

 Tommy runs laughing down the hall, not knowing
 the SHAPE is following him. He turns around for a
 moment and sees him. He spots the bloodied knife,
                 and he screams loudly.

        INT. WARE HOUSE - SOMEWHERE

   Kyle, who hears Tommy's screams, runs in his
                         direction.

                    INT. HALLWAY

    We see TOMMY run down the hallway in an
 angle, and in another we see KYLE running down
    it, and on another we see the SHAPE walking
                       down the hall.

  Tommy and Kyle spot each other, and they run.
               They meet finally and hug.

                           KYLE
                      (crying a little)
    Don't you ever run off like that again! Never!

                         TOMMY
                       (crying a lot)
   THE BOOGEY MAN! I SAW THE BOOGEY
 MAN! HE'S AFTER US WE HAVE TO RUN!!!!!

  Kyle and Tommy run hand in hand down the hall
   and Kyle struggles to open a locked or jammed
                            door.

                           KYLE
                 Come on… come on…

    He bangs loudly on it, and suddenly the door
 SWINGS OPEN  to reveal that THE SHAPE was
            standing right behind the door!

    Kyle and Michael meet face to face. You can
         almost feel the rumble in the air as…

   The Shape raises the knife, and whips it at Kyle
     just as he SLAMS THE DOOR just in time.

   Kyle grabs Tommy and they run down the dark
                   and damp corridor.

 Meanwhile the shape opens up the door and steps
                            out.

               INT. A NEW HALLWAY

 Tommy and Kyle are seen dashing down the long
  corridor, frantically trying to find a place to hide.
     Tommy continues to run, but Kyle trips over
                         something.

  Meanwhile The Shape is starting to go faster and
 faster down the hall, he's dreadfully determined to
    get Kyle. Kyle scurries up in a mad rush and
 catches up with Tommy just before the KNIFE of
        the Shape hits the ground next to him.

            INT. ROOM - CONTINUOUS

  Kyle and Tommy run inside, to discover the exit.
    Kyle opens it up, to reveal that it's a dark alley
                            way.

                           KYLE
               (out of breath and scared)
  Ok… ok… Tommy I want you to wait out here.
   Ok? Wait here.. wait here. Do not go inside not
   even if you hear me scream. I want you to stay
here, until I come back out and tell you to come in.
                        Ok?? OK???

  Tommy nervously nods and steps inside the alley
  way.  Kyle closes the door, and heads back into
             the interior of the ware house.

         INT. SOME SORT OF DIRT ROOM

  Kyle runs inside the LOCKS THE DOOR behind
    him. He looks around to reveal that there are
 radios and stuff around and about. Also, the floor
 is covered with sand. He looks to the other side of
   the room to reveal a door made out of boarded
                           wood.

   He runs over to it and furiously tries to open. It
                          doesn't.

                           KYLE
                         Damn it.

 Kyle looks under the door, to see a small opening.
    Its caked with sand, and maybe he could get
               through if he widened it…

  Kyle wastes no time and walks over to the radio.
   He switches it on, and off, it makes a whizzing
                   sound till it dies out.

                           KYLE
                            Shit!!

  ALL OF THE SUDDEN the Shape bangs loudly
 on the locked door which Kyle used to enter. Kyle
 screams, and runs over to the door which he can't
                            open.

   To Kyle's surprise, the Shape begins to dig the
  small opening at the bottom of the door, trying to
                           get in.

   Kyle does the same to his door, and frantically
  tries to dig the sand away from the bottom of the
 door, to make a deep trench which he can get into.
  Kyle looks behind him to see the SHAPE digging
             away furiously with his knife.

 The Shape and Kyle race as they dig at the bottom
  of the doors, one trying to get in one trying to get
                            out.

After a few breathless moments, Kyle is able to dig
 deep enough so he can crawl through. He does so,
 and when he gets out to the other side the SHAPE
  enters in the room he was just in. Kyle wastes no
   time as he PUSHES THE SAND back into the
     opening he made, trying to block it from the
                           Shape.

   When he finishes, he runs exhausted down the
                            hall.

     INT. ALLEY WAY/ EXT. WARE HOUSE

Kyle speeds out of the Ware House, grabs Tommy,
 and they both run down the long Alley, and make
           there way onto the streets again.

                      INT. STREET

  The sidewalks, roads and what not are empty, no
 one can be seen in sight, except for TOMMY and
  KYLE who are running down the long and damp
  roads, their footsteps echoing simultaneously as
                         they run.

 They clear down the road, and enter Kyle's street.
  Kyle instantly spots his house, and they run over
                            to it.

  Meanwhile we see the SHAPE walking along the
        sidewalks, spotting Kyle and Tommy.

      INT. STRODE HOUSE - CONTINUOUS

 Silence, until an exhausted Tommy and Kyle open
  up the door, run inside, and lock the door behind
  them. Kyle drops to his knees and pants wildly.

  Tommy slumps down into a corner, as Kyle runs
                    down the hallway.

                           KYLE
          Dad??? Mom??? Anybody here???

   Kyle looks around for a while, but gives up. He
              opens up a closet and sees…

   HIS DAD. HANGING FROM THE BAR, HIS
    THROAT SLASHED, AND HIS STOMACH
  GAPING WIDE OPEN, A LAYER OF BLOOD
 AND RIPPED FLESH ARE SPILLING OUT OF
      THE CLOSET FLOOR AND ONTO THE
                  HALLWAY FLOOR.

 Kyle GASPS and shuts the door instantly. He puts
            his hands on his face and sobs.

                       INT. FOYER

 Tommy, who is looking out of the peep hole of the
                  door spots something.

                     TOMMY'S POV
   A distorted view of the porch, but the SHAPE
   lunges up onto it, heading straight for the door.

                   REVERSE ANGLE
 As Tommy screams. In a beat Kyle runs up to him,
  as MICHAEL'S ARM shatters through the door
window, swinging around wildly trying to grasp the
                            lock.

    The two scream and speed out of the foyer.

  INT. UPSTAIRS HALL WAY - CONTINUOUS

 Tommy and Kyle go up the long flight of stairs and
      when they get to the landing, Kyle says…

                           KYLE
 Ok, Tommy. I want you to hide in the linen closet
   and DO NOT come out until I say so, alright???

                         TOMMY
                           But---

                           KYLE
                        (frustrated)
                      DO AS I SAY!!

  Tommy takes this as a warning, and runs into the
  linen closet and shuts the door obediently behind
   him.  Kyle looks back at him, and looks back at
  the stairwell to the Shadow of the Shape lunging
                       up the stairs.

       Kyle scrambles for the master bedroom.

              INT. MASTER BED ROOM

    The boy runs inside, shuts the door, pushes a
     dresser drawer in front of it and runs for the
                           phone.
                           KYLE
                       (dialing 911)
                  Come on, come on…

               Finally someone answers.

                       OPERATOR
                     (through phone)
           911, please state your emergenc-

                           KYLE
  HI THIS IS KYLE STRODE AND I AM AT 421
 TURNER LANE I REPEAT 421 TURNER LANE
 PLEASE HURRY! MICHAEL MYERS IS HERE
                      TO KILL ME--

 The phone line goes dead, just as MICHAEL from
outside the bed room pounds furiously on the door.
               It splinters, but wont give.

  Kyle rams up against the dresser drawer towards
 the door, trying to contain it. Michael BURSTS IN
     at ease.  Kyle stammers back and yells out.

    Michael approaches Kyle, knife hi in the air.

   Now Kyle ain't as strong as Michael, but he's as
  smart as hell, so he grasps a bookshelf in front of
 him as a shield just as the KNIFE hurls through the
                 air and catches with it.

 The knife pulls out, and Kyle dashes for the door.
  Michael follows him, raises the knife again, and
   stabs a picture of LAURIE STRODE on a shelf
                      instead of Kyle.

         INT. BASEMENT - CONTINUOUS

    Kyle rushes down the stairs as if driven by an
 invisible force, he opens up a chest and brings out
                       a few things.

                           KYLE
 Now where is that replica of Freddy's glove that I
         had in the 4th grade… Ah! Here it is.

    Kyle pulls out a steel spidery apparatus glove
      thing, which matches FREDDY'S GLOVE
                         perfectly.

 He slides the glove into his hand, and watches the
  gleaming razors shine. Kyle wastes no time, and
  tests it by scraping the razor fingers along a pipe.
  An eerie SSSSCCCRRRRRRTTTTTTTT follows
 it. He smiles, and grabs a match book, and drags a
              tank of gasoline up the stairs.

                  INT. LIVING ROOM

  Kyle is setting up a trap. He tapes sand paper up
     against a wall, followed by a string which is
 attached to a single match. Kyle soaks the ground
   with gasoline.  The match is set to fall from its
  place once its lighted and ignite with the ground.
              All Kyle needs is the bait…

                         CUT TO:

             INT. UPSTAIRS HALLWAY

   The linen closet door screeches open and little
      Tommy steps out, curious. Just as he does,
  MICHAEL steps out of the master bedroom and
     sees him. The Shape walks over to him, and
           Tommy backs away and screams.

 Michael is just about to grab Tommy, when a loud
    SSSCCCCCCRRRRTTTTT is heard from the
  stairwell. Michael whips around like lightning to
 see KYLE scraping the talons against the railing of
                       the stair way.

                           KYLE
              Come and get me Shit Head!

  The bait works. Michael lunges at Kyle, but Kyle
 dashes for the stairs in an instant with Michael hot
                        on his trail.

                  INT. LIVING ROOM

  Kyle stops at the threshold at the living room. He
    lunges at Michael and slashes the razors at his
      stomach. Michael grasps them in pain and
 stumbles into the living room. Kyle lashes out and
 STABS HIM in his side, causing him to fall to the
       ground and gets soaked by the gasoline.

   Kyle takes this as a sign and BANGS his hand
  against the wall, triggering the string to fall, with
   the match STRICKING ACROSS THE WALL
 PAPER, igniting a small flame. The match falls to
     the ground, and ignites the ENTIRE ROOM
                    including Michael.

            INT. UPSTAIRS HALL WAY

   The boy runs upstairs and knocks frantically on
  the linen closet door. Tommy runs out, and they
  both dash down the stair way and run out of the
                           house.
 

                         CUT TO:

INT. TOMMY STRODE'S HOUSE - THAT VERY
                          NIGHT

               Tommy and Kyle walk in.

                           KYLE
                Where are your parents?

                         TOMMY
              They're out seeing a movie.

                           KYLE
               Oh. Is anybody else home?

                         TOMMY
   Yeah, my older sister Lilly is home… I'll go get
                            her.

                           KYLE
                            Ok.

   Tommy runs up the stairs, as Kyle takes off his
    Freddy Glove and stares at the blood soaked
                           razors.

                         CUT TO:

            INT. UPSTAIRS HALL WAY

                     TOMMY'S POV
  We walk up the stairs and enter the hallway. We
peer through Lilly's door, to see her listening to her
 headphones. We walk to the next room, Tommy's
  room and we grab our Michael Myers mask and
   set it over our face.  We open up a drawer and
 bring out a pocket knife. We press a button at the
    side and instantly a sheer SHING of the blade
  spurts out as it slides from its place. We hold the
      knife high in the air, and immediately loud
   breathing emanates from our mouth. We walk
 stealthily over to Lilly's room and walk up right in
                       front of her.
 After seeing us, we take out the knife, raise it high
   in the air above Lilly and we SLAM IT DOWN
                         just as we

                     SMASH CUT TO

                  INT. LIVING ROOM

   Lilly's helpless cries are heard all the way from
  upstairs. In a beat Kyle springs up and dashes for
                       the stairway.

 Slowly coming down the stairs comes TOMMY in
   the Myers' mask, breathing loudly, with a really
                  bloody knife in hand.

 Kyle goes up by him and rips off the mask. It's the
  face of Tommy. Blank. Lifeless. Black eyes. The
                      Devil's eyes…

                           KYLE
              (choking on his own words)
                Oh…. g-g-g-god….. no!

       ULTRA SMASH CUT BLACK OUT!!!

    The HALLOWEEN Theme starts up and gets
          faster and faster as the credits roll.

  After so… we see the vision of TOMMY holding
  up the bloody knife, then we see young MYERS
    holding up his bloody knife, unmasked by his
                          parents.

    They both have the same expression on there
                            faces.

                   FADE TO BLACK
