Halloween: Quest of the Slayer
This is it. Finally, after two years, this trilogy is complete. If you havenít read Halloween: The Slayer and Halloween: The Return of the Slayer, you shouldnít read any further until you have. Youíll have no clue whatís going on.
There are a number of things you need to know in order to read this script. While Buffy season 7 is still ignored, parts of its storyline and/or characters are present in parts, though I took it a whole different direction, connecting it with the Halloween universe. Spike still has no soul, but that is not the complicated part if you're an Angel fan. Angel was absent in the other two crossovers, but the time has now come for him to appear. Mostly, I picked up right where Season 3 left off, with a few minor changes.
Angel was left in the casket at the bottom of the ocean while Cordelia went missing and Wesley was no longer welcome with Angel Investigations. However, since I didnít want to get Angel out of the ocean myself, I explain it with Connor having second thoughts and going back for him. Lame, I know, but I didn't want to waste time pulling him out myself. In other words, Cordelia is still missing but Angel is back home while Wesley has left for good. Angel Investigations is still at the Hyperion Hotel and there was no Wolfram & Hart takeover. Just too confusing to ignore Season 7 of Buffy and not ignore the rest of Angel due to Spikeís storyline carrying over to the other.
Anyways, I used a lot of things from other stories in this as well, including elements of "Stephen Kingís The Stand" and other apocalyptic backdrops, as I pretty much ended any sense of normality at the end of Return. Anyways, this is the conclusion. Hope you enjoy.
Oh, and Joss Whedon, John Carpenter, and whole bunch of other people own these characters. Feedback is always welcome.
