Halloween IX: Void of Soul By Chang Tizon (I do not own any rights to the Halloween series, so this is just fan-fiction. I’m only 12, so it couldn’t possibly be legal anyway. Oh, and I decided not to mention H20-Resurrection, because they really messed up the story line. I don’t completely ignore them, like they did 4-6. I just decided not to mention them. Enjoy.) INT.CRUISE SHIP- MORNING In the steering area, there is a woman talking to the man steering. The man is PETER WASHINGTON and the woman is MEYRANDA POTTER. Meyranda So, when are we supposed to get there, anyway? Peter Ten hours. And this is a cruise, we’re not really supposed to end up on a certain place. We stay on the ship the whole time. Now will you please go away? I’m trying to concentrate. Meyranda (sighs) Whatever. She walks away, utterly bored. When she comes up to the edge of the ship, she sees something white below. It is caught on a part of the ship. She quickly reaches down with a net and pulls up a mask. It is the mask that belongs to The Shape. It is on a head, which is on the body. Meyranda heaves the tattered remains of MICHAEL MYERS onto the ship. Looking down at him, she sees that his eyes are open, but he is dead. He is motionless. She screams. Meyranda Jesus Christ on a bicycle, what is this?! A crowd surrounds her and screams. Meyranda pulls the body along the ground and into the steering area. Meyranda Please, call someone, do something! My god, I just found a body!! Peter What are you talking about? He turns around and shrieks. Peter What is going on?! Meyranda I don’t know… WATCH OUT! Peter quickly turns back to his steering, but he is too late. He rams a large rock with full force, sending a jolt straight through the ship. Meyranda accidentally hits her head on a lever and breaks it off. It jams right into Michael’s heart, the blood going back into his veins. Close up on his eyes as they slowly blink. He yanks the steel from his chest and shoves it into Meyranda’s cheek. It goes straight into her brain, killing her. Then he comes over to the side, where he jumps off, into the water. Now swimming, he heads west. The "Halloween" theme plays as the title card comes up. Cut to: INT.HOSPITAL-DAY (HADDONFIELD, OCTOBER 30TH, 2004) Michael is walking through the halls. We see him only from behind. He is wearing the jumpsuit, but not the mask. He walks to the chart and looks around. Finally, he sees JAMIE LLOYD-ROOM 24, COMATOSE. He walks through the hallway, and pulls the mask from his pocket. He slips it on and walks into the room. INT.JAMIE’S ROOM The bed has needles and wires, covered in blood, and the sheets are messed up, but Jamie is nowhere to be seen. The window is broken. Michael walks over to the window and peers out. It is from the second-floor window, but we see what he is seeing. A small, female figure is crawling. Michael slowly exits the room. EXT.THE HOSPITAL, IN MEADOW Michael walks straight out the door, and quickly to the crawling figure. JAMIE LLOYD turns around and screams. Jamie No, Michael, no! Michael holds up the knife, but a branch from the tree falls and lands on Michael. He falls to the ground. Jamie slowly inches her way over to a thin log lying on the ground. She uses it as a cane, balancing on it and hobbling as fast as she can to the woods. INT.APARTMENT ROOM-NIGHT A crash of thunder is heard. Jamie is closing the window she had just crawled through. The rain is beating down heavily. She crawls over to the bed and lays down on it. She closes her eyes. Flash to: Jamie is impaled on a large hook by Michael. She screams as Michael pulls a lever, sending electric shocks through her body. Michael walks from the area, as Jamie’s arm wildly pulls the lever down. She struggles as the blood bursts from her lips, but then her body goes limp. Cut to: The police are taking her away. DR. LOOMIS is talking to a policeman. Dr. Loomis Is she dead? Policeman Well, we don’t know if she will make it. She is currently in comatose. Back to: Jamie is in the bed in the apartment. She slowly begins bending her knees. Just then, a knock is heard at the door. Jamie limps over to the door and opens it. It is THE APARTMENT OWNER. Owner Hey I just got a report that you broke into my apartment building. Jamie rolls her eyes. Cut to: INT. CLOSET-NIGHT The owner is in the closet, bound and gagged with strips from the blanket. Jamie is looking his wallet over. Jamie Hey, I’ve missed nine years of my life, you can at least let me have the dough. She walks over to the mirror and looks herself over. Jamie Gosh, now I know what lying in bed for so long can do to your ass. Oh well. She walks over to the door and steps out of it before shutting it tightly. INT.HALLWAY OF APARTMENT BUILDING-NIGHT Jamie is limping down the hall. She steps out of the door. Cut to: EXT. STORE -MORNING (HADDONFIELD, OCTOBER 31ST, 2004-HALLOWEEN) Jamie walks out of the store in fur boots, a pink belly-botton sweater, and tight blue capris. She also is carrying a small purse, and she walks over to a brand new Mercedes. She steps in and shuts the door before driving off. INT.MERCEDES-MORNING Jamie is driving, looking in the mirror, smiling. When she finally reaches a stop, she gets out. EXT.ANOTHER APARTMENT BUILDING-MORNING Jamie, now out of the Mercedes, opens her trunk. In the trunk, there are six cement blocks and six chains. Jamie pulls a box of matches out of the trunk. Then she walks over to the door and knocks on it. A short, portly man, BOB GREEN, opens the door. Jamie smiles. Jamie Hi, I’m Jamie Lloyd. Can I rent one of the rooms in here? Cut to: INT.APARTMENT ROOM-MORNING Jamie opens the door and steps into a large, beautiful apartment room. When she turns on the lights, she walks over to a large curtain. Opening it, she discovers a large, wide window with a beautiful, sunny view. She smiles and closes her eyes in delight. She walks over to the bed and sits on it. Jamie It’s almost over, Jamie. Tonight, innocent lives will die. But one of them won’t. Because one of them isn’t innocent. And that one person better get enough candy tonight, because it’s the last Halloween they’ll have. She walks over to the window again and looks down. She sees a huge, fat woman smile and wave at her, beckoning her downstairs. EXT.APARTMENT-MORNING Jamie exits the door and goes over to the fat woman, WILDA KEIYN. Jamie screams and hugs her. Jamie Wilda! You were the only one nice to me in Elementary school! Wilda Well, I would have been nice to you through junior-high and high school if you would have made it there. God, it’s been so long! Last I heard, you were in a coma! It’s been nine years. When did you wake up? Oh, and how did you get there in the first place? You have to give me the scoop, I adore it! Jamie looks down at her hands and twiddles her thumbs. A tear comes down her face as she looks back up. Jamie Wilda, I’ll tell you, but you promise, you can’t tell anybody that you saw me, alright? Wilda Of course, sweetie. Jamie Alright, remember when I had to leave school when I was seven? Wilda Yes, I always wondered why. Jamie Well, my uncle Michael Myers, who everyone used to tease me about, came after me. I survived the first attack, but one night I woke up in an insane asylum. I was told I had butchered my foster-mother. Oh, did I tell you? My real mother, who fled from Michael over 20 years ago, died in a car crash with my brother. Anyway, the next Halloween, he came after me again. This time, he killed all of my friends, and then he brought me to a place where he raped me, and I gave birth when I was fifteen. When I tried to get away, he found me and impaled me on an electrical machine. The next thing I knew, I was waking up in the hospital. I looked out the window, only to see him coming for me. So I left and escaped. That was yesterday. And I have a surprise for him tonight that will GUARANTEE he will never return. Wilda Well, your story is quite impressive, but I think you should tell someone. Jamie I plan to go to the authorities and explain directly after I kill Michael. Wilda How do you plan to do that? Cut to: INT.GROCERY SHOP-NOON Jamie is standing in the bread aisle. A figure passes her. When she looks at the figure, it is Wilda. Jamie What is your deal, Wilda? Why are you following me? I’m going to do this! All of a sudden, a knife grabs Wilda by the throat. It slashes straight through her face, wiping away her expressions. It is a man in black who killed her. He drops the knife in front of Jamie and brushes blood all over her hands, before rushing from the scene. Jamie stands shocked. She grabs her bread and leaves. Cut to: INT.APARTMENT ROOM-NOON Jamie is lying on her bed, crying. The bread loaf, the cement blocks, the chains, and the matches are sitting next to her. She raises her head and sniffles. She then proceeds to exit her room. INT.COMPUTER ROOM-NOON Jamie sits in front of a computer and looks at the screen. She types in JAMIE LLOYD. Up pops various headlines. JAMIE LLOYD PUT IN COMA! JAMIE LLOYD, DAUGHTER OF LAURIE STRODE, ATTACKED! JAMIE LLOYD-CURRENTLY MISSING MICHAEL MYERS PAYS JAMIE A VISIT BEFORE ATTACKING HER BABY THE SERIAL KILLER FINALLY GUNNED DOWN Jamie clicks on the gunned down headline. "Michael Myers, the infamous serial killer, is finally gunned down! On October 31st, 2002, Michael was spotted walking from a murder scene, just before a policeman assassinated him. His body was dumped into the ocean." Jamie steps up from her chair and walks over to the door. She stands for a bit. An impatient woman stands behind her. Woman Would you go already? She pushes Jamie. Jamie turns around. Jamie What is your problem? Woman Slow people like you! She gives Jamie another shove. All of a sudden, Jamie explodes. She slams the woman’s face with her clenched fists. She does it again one more time, and again and again, putting her entire strength and power onto the woman’s face, despite her bloodcurdling cries. The blood spatters all over Jamie’s hands, chest, and face, until the woman’s body finally stops. The woman’s face is horribly bloody and disfigured as she cries on the floor. Woman (whisper) I’m sorry. Jamie Apology accepted. She stands for a moment in pure shock. She can see the people surrounding her, their eyes and mouths wide. All of a sudden, as if in a huge explosion, the shrill screams come all at once. Jamie begins to weep as she escapes the room of terror. Cut to: EXT.APARTMENT-NIGHT Michael is walking towards the door. He knocks. As soon as Bob answers, the knife comes down on his face three times, sending him hurling across the room. Michael comes in. INT.ROOM-NIGHT Two hookers are sitting on the table in their undergarments, screaming. Michael comes up to them and grabs them. He turns around and throws them out the door. They scream as they run away. Michael turns back to what he is doing. He looks for Jamie’s apartment room. The chart reads JAMIE LLOYD-ROOM 272. Michael heads for the door. INT.HALLWAY-NIGHT Michael is walking towards Jamie’s room. Just then, a fire bursts through the hall. Michael avoids it. Several people come out into the hallway and scream as the hot air blows through their faces. A horrified and screaming man pulls the fire alarm. Meanwhile, on the other side of the fire, Jamie is holding the matchbox and a fire axe from the broken glass compartment on the wall. She drops the matches into the flame and pulls out a bread slice. She drops it in front of her door, then opens it. She puts another next to the window, and crawls out of the window. Cut to: INT.FOREST-NIGHT Jamie is running through the woods, frantically dropping bread every few yards from each other. Finally, she reaches the end. She puts one loaf of bread at the end, then exits the woods. She is now on top of a high cliff. She runs over to the edge of it, where the chains and blocks are. She puts the loaf of bread of it at the edge and stoops down behind a rock. P.O.V.- We see Michael exit the forest and turn to look at the bread and the equipment at the edge. He turns his head in confusion, then slowly walks to the edge of it, looking down. Then, we run over to him and land the axe into his neck, making a crunching sound. Jamie then smashes a blow into his right shoulder, then his left, then right thigh, and ultimately, his left thigh. The parts scatter all over the mountain. She walks over to the head and drops the axe. She squats down and picks up the head, looking into his eyes. His eyes blink, and a drop of blood cries from his right eye. Jamie grabs his white mask and it falls apart. Underneath is a partly human face, quickly decomposing into a skull. Jamie kisses the head and hooks a chain to it. Then she attaches the other end to a cement block. She does the same with each of the body parts, chaining each to its own cement block. She pushes the heavy cement blocks off the side of the cliff, and they fall into the black, deep sea. INT.OCEAN-NIGHT We see all of the parts falling, separating to different places, the head in particular. We see as the head falls into a ship, with a tattered sign that reads TITANIC. As the cement block hits the bottom of the dark ship, anchoring the head to the depths of the sea, we see Michael’s eyelids close. EXT.MOUNTAIN-NIGHT The police cuff Jamie. Jamie Why am I in trouble? Policeman Not much. But just for starters, you broke out of a hospital, spent over $40,000 of someone else’s money after tying them up, you stole bread from a store, and burnt down an apartment building. Jamie It was all to save people. I didn’t cause any deaths but one. Policeman Who’s that? Jamie pauses for a few seconds in utter disbelief that it was finally over. Jamie Michael Myers. It echo’s throughout the night sky.
